This web site (www.mattbrauer.com) and the writings on it are the personal creation of me, writer Matt Brauer. Entries to this web site represent fiction or my personal opinion. The site is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any employer, neither past nor present.

Humor is used liberally on this site, along with sarcasm, cynicism, and satire. If any reader cannot tolerate these forms of expression, it is their own problem and not mine. I suggest those who do not like my opinions or sense of humor should stop visiting this site. A suggested alternative: www.disney.com.

Like all writers, I draw on personal experiences for subject matter. I occasionally write about occupational experiences, particulary the social aspects of work. (When I'm not at work, I don't like thinking about work, but the sociology of work intrigues me.) I will not disclose where I work, or have worked in the past, nor any work product I am or have been affiliated with, nor any type of employer confidential or proprietary information for obvious legal and ethical reasons. Any conclusions a reader makes as to where I am or have been employed, or specific work products, is pure speculation on their part. Any references I make to work are generalized to the extent they can be applied to any employer in my field of work, or to office environments in general, and are not specific to any one employer. Regardless, any mention of work is done as humor, fiction, my opinion, or any combination thereof, and is not the opinion of, nor the property of any past or present employer.

Likewise, I am a real person with real friends and relatives, and I respect their privacy. I rarely use specific names in non-fiction writings, but when I do use them, names of those I know personally are changed to protect their identities, and more important, to protect me. I also respect the privacy of private individuals. Names of public personalities are generally unchanged when used in humor. Names and characters in fiction writings are my own creation, and any resemblance to any person living or dead is coincidence, and frightening.
